Welcome to our Massons Healthcare O&P (Orthotics & Prosthetics) Student Support page.

For many years, Massons has supported and educated students from a wide range of O&P Universities in Australia and internationally. We do this through a combination of online and face to face programs. This gives students and academic staff exposure to many O&P technologies, clinical and technical processes we have experience with in our company.

Since 2019, we have offered O&P student internship programs, face to face at our centre in Knoxfield, Melbourne. These programs are technical fabrication focused with guidance and mentoring from Massons technicians, with opportunities for clinical patient exposure and mentoring with Massons clinicians. The technical fabrication focus gives students opportunities to develop their hand and technical fabrication skills, complementing their clinical skills in their future career.

In addition, we offer O&P clinical attachments for students on a yearly basis, in partnership with their respective educational institutions. We have experienced clinicians and technicians at Massons guiding students through these placements, providing exposure to clinical and technical settings and procedures in Melbourne, often including O&P department hospital visits.

Our online Massons Clinical and Technical Education Portal is also accessible for O&P students interested in expanding their knowledge. These online resources (accessible 24/7) complement the many clinical and technical lectures our experienced staff deliver to O&P students on a yearly basis.

If you are an O&P student or an O&P academic staff member (from LaTrobe University or The University of the Sunshine Coast in Australia, or an O&P school elsewhere) interested in learning more about our support programs, along with any of our products and services, please email info@massonshealthcare.com.au
